Publie Opinion--Tuesday, August 9, 1977 Record of deaths RITCHEY SERVICES The funeral for Mrs. Patricia Ann (Patty) Ritchey, 28, R.R. 2. St. Thomas, has been scheduled for Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

in the Salem Lutheran Church, Marion. Mrs. Ritchey died unexpectedly at her home early Monday morning. Born June 27, 1949, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of Ellis P. and Mamie L.

Metcalfe Martin, R. R. 10, Chambersburg. She was member of the Salem Lutheran Church, Marion, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the St. Thomas Volunteer Fire Company, St.

Thomas. In addition to her husband. William Samuel Ritchey, and her parents, she is survived by a son, Daniel Allen Ritchey, at home: four brothers, Richard L. Martin, with the U.S. Navy in Hawail, Terry E.

Martin Thomas O. Martin, and Ellis P. Martin II, all of R. R. 10, Chambersburg: a sister, Mrs.

Jeffery Kathy Rohrer, R.R. 11, Chambersburg: her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Martin, Seabring, her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Alma Metcalfe, Hagerstown, five nephews and a niece.

The Rev. Herbert G. Lindewurth will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the St. Thomas Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home Wednesday between 7 and 9 p.m. and one hour before the service on Thurs- day. DYMOND SERVICES Arrangements have been completed for the funeral of Mrs. Mildred C.

Dymond, 75, 227 Irva Drive, who died Sunday at 10:10 p.m. in the York Hospital. She was the widow of Hart M. Dymond who died in 1968. The service will be held at 2:30 p.m.

Wednesday in the Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Parker Neal officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service Wednesday.

Mrs. Dymond was born June 13. 1902. in Mercersburg, daughter of the late John W. and Mary Stenger Beck.

She was a member of the Charles Nitterhouse Post No. 1599. VFW Auxiliary, and the AARP Golden Age Club, chapter 1507. Mrs. Dymond was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are two sons, Jacs M. Dymond, 320 Coldbrook and Hart M. Dymond 217 Holland Road, Fayetteville; a daughter, Mrs. Joy Fogal, York: three brothers, John Beck, Lancaster: Harry Beck, Elizabethtown, and William Beck, Carlisle; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. MRS.

PERRY SKEEN Mrs. Mayme A. Skeen, 97, R.R. 1. Greencastle, died today at 2:37 a.m.

at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Bernice and Earl J. Whitmore, R.R. 1, Greencastle, following a long illness. She was the widow of Perry 1 R. Skeen.

Mrs. Skeen was born May 15, 1880, in Upton, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian L. Myers.

She formerly attended Montgomery Brethren In Christ Church near Upton. In addition to her daughter Bernice, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Ross (Mary) Borden, Blythe, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m.

at the Harbaugh Church Cemetery near Rouzerville, with the Rev. Elsie M. Shryock and the Rev. Norma Rainey officiating. Minnich-Miller funeral home of Greencastle is in charge of the arrangements.

HENRY HUSTONTOWN Mrs. Ruth C. Henry, 61, Hustontown, died Monday morning at the Harrisburg General Hospital. Mrs. Henry was born Jan.

7, 1916, in Pittsburgh, daugh, ter of the late Joseph and Philomena Horton Zwergel. She was a member of the Cromwell Weslyn Holiness Church, Clear Ridge, and was the widow of Paul R. Henry, who died in 1967. Surviving are three sons, Thomas N. Henry, Three Springs: William D.

Henry, McConnellsburg, and Dale H. Henry, with the U. S. Germany: five daughters, Mrs. Lena H.

Miller, Three Springs: Mrs. Sandra Yerke, Norristown: Mrs. Esther H. Shaffer, MeConnellsburg: Mrs. Ruth Ann Watkins.

JESSE H. HOCKENBERRY Jesse H. Hockenberry, 82, Doylesburg, died at 10:30 p.m. Monday in The Chambersburg Hospital after an illness of two and a half years. Mr.

Hockenberry was born Feb. 25, 1895, in Doylesburg, son of the late McClellan and Agnes Duncan Hockenberry. His wife. Beulah A. Fortney Hockenberry, died in 1976.

He was a retired laborer from Letterkenny Army Depot. He was of the Protestant faith. He is survived by five children, Mrs. Nellie Gutshall. Blain; Mrs.

Cora enberry, Paul Hockenberry, Allen Hockenberry and Mrs. Betty Yocum, all of Doylesburg, three brothers. Arthur and James Hockenberry, both of Doylesburg, and Clyde Hockenberry, Concord: a sister, Mrs. Viola Williamson, East Waterford; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m.

in the John L. Agett Funeral Home, Dry Run, with the Rev. Paul J. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Doylesburg Cemetery, Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday after 7 p.m.

MRS. ROSS E. BARKMAN HUSTONTOWN Mrs. Hazel V. Barkman, 77.

Hustontown, died Monday morning in the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg. Born Nov. 25. 1899 in Hustontown, daughter of the late James K. and Lillie Sipes Reeder, she was a member of the Hustontown United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by her husband. Ross E. Barkman, who died in 1971. Mrs. Barkman is survived by four children.

Mrs. Evelyn Laidig, McConnellsburg: Mrs. Betty Luther, Mentor. Ohio; Jack B. Barkman, Saxonburg, and Larry R.

Barkman, Cleburne. two sisters, Mrs. Edith Sipes, Hustontown, and Mrs. Margaret Wise, Lititz: one brother, Donald Reeder, McConnellsburg, 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m.

Thursday in the John J. Kelso Funeral Home, McConnellsburg, with the Rev. Monroe Shearer officiating. Burial will be in the Hustontown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

NEFF SERVICES Graveside services will be held on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. in the Burns Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, for Mrs. Belle Neff who died Sunday in the Waynesboro Hospital. She was a guest at the Quincy United Methodist Home for a month. Mrs.

Neff, 63, formerly of 376 South Carlisle Greencastle, was born Jan. 5, 1914 in Waynesboro. She was the daughter of the late Allen C. and Blanche J. McCarney Mort Sr.

Her husband. Homer O. Neff, died in 1959. Mrs. Neff was last ployed by the White Swan Restaurant, Waynesboro.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Minnie Scrivener, Baltimore, and a brother, Donald Mort. Bradenton, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. The Rev. Ralph S.
